Internships & Externships at PPCW!

We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of PPCW’s Internship and Externship program. Starting in February 2024, we will be offering a Rotational Internship and a Medical Assistant Externship for those looking to gain experience while supporting our mission.

The Rotational Internship will consist of a rotating placement between several PPCW teams, each lasting 4 weeks. During that time, you will get to shadow and assist various teams in their day-to-day operations. This internship will allow community members and students to engage in experiential learning with our teams as they provide support in a culturally responsive and trauma-informed manner.

The Medical Assistant externship will be open to any Medical Assistants currently completing an MA program which requires hands-on experience in a clinic. Those selected for this program will be placed with one team throughout their externship, allowing them to practice and utilize the skills they’ve learned in the classroom.

Applications will be open beginning in November 2023, and more information will be available in the coming weeks. Stay up to date with our Internship and Externship programs, as well as the many ways you can get involved with our volunteer programs by clicking here.

Please reach out with any questions to our Volunteer Engagement Manager, Nick Love at [email protected]
